Abrogate.pro was founded in 2020 with a mission to create immersive, challenging post-apocalyptic survival games that prioritize player choice and community. What began as a passion project for three lifelong gamers in a Boise garage has evolved into a dedicated studio focused on crafting experiences that blend intense gameplay with rich storytelling. Our journey started with a shared frustration: many survival games prioritized grind over meaningful progression, or sacrificed narrative depth for open-world scale. We set out to bridge that gap, creating games where every decision matters—whether you’re forging alliances with other players, scavenging for resources in a harsh landscape, or navigating moral dilemmas that shape the game world. At Abrogate.pro, our team of 12 developers, designers, and writers brings diverse expertise to the table. Our lead game designer, Marcus Hale, has over a decade of experience in survival game development, having worked on beloved titles before striking out on his own to pursue a more player-centric vision. Our narrative director, Lila Marquez, is a former novelist who infuses our games with compelling lore and dynamic storylines that adapt to player actions. And our technical lead, Raj Patel, specializes in optimizing multiplayer servers to ensure smooth gameplay even for hundreds of concurrent players. Our flagship game, Fall of Civilization, launched in 2022 and quickly gained a loyal following for its realistic survival mechanics, dynamic weather systems, and player-driven economy. Unlike many survival games, Fall of Civilization emphasizes community—players can form clans, build shared settlements, and engage in large-scale PvP battles, or choose a solitary path as a nomad. We release monthly content updates, including new maps, missions, and items, all inspired by player feedback. What sets us apart? We believe in transparency and fairness. We avoid pay-to-win mechanics, offering only cosmetic items in our in-game store, and we’re committed to communicating openly with our community about development progress, balance changes, and future plans. Our Discord server and forums are active hubs where players can chat directly with developers, report bugs, and suggest new features—many of which have been integrated into the game (like our popular "Dynamic Events" system, which spawns random challenges across the map). Beyond game development, we’re dedicated to supporting the survival gaming community.
